Walls Close In: A Home Confinement Story
The boundaries of my home were always like a refuge. Now they constrict, a constant indication of my confined existence. Days bleed together, marked only by the chime of the timepiece and the heavy weight in my chest. Every whisper from outside is a sharp pang of the life I left behind.
I drift through these unbearable rooms, searching for some spark of light. The rays that once streamed across my floor now seem distant, and the quiet is oppressive.

Living on Lockdown
Life as we knew it has drastically changed. The world outside our doors is a blur of its former glory. We are now confined within the walls of our homes, forced to adapt to a new reality. The days run together, marked by the cycle of online meetings, binging media, and cooking. We long for the simple pleasures that were once assumed for granted: a stroll in the park, a cup of tea with friends, or even just a chat without a screen amidst us.
This new world has brought challenges, but it has also exposed unexpected qualities within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more compassionate, more resourceful, and more thankful for the little things in life. As we navigate this uncharted territory, we must keep hopeful that brighter days are ahead.
Six Feet From Freedom
Life behind bars is a difficult reality. Every day, you face restrictions that feel like an unbreakable barrier. The world outside seems so reachable, yet it's separated by just six feet.
Sometimes, the pressure of those bars feels insurmountable. You crave freedom with every fiber of your being. Each new day serves as a stark reality that you're confined.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a gleam of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be liberated. That day might seem uncertain, but it's a home arrest dream worth holding onto.
Confined Liberation
The allure with freedom can be a powerful force. Yet, paradoxically, it can even lead to restriction. This happens when the very notion of freedom becomes manipulated, transforming into a weapon for control and oppression.
Authentic freedom requires not only the absence with external constraints but also the development of internal strength. When this inner foundation is lacking, even amidst a society that celebrates freedom, individuals can find themselves bound within the limitations of their own beliefs.
Consequently, the true measure with freedom lies in our ability to liberate ourselves the constraints that limit our potential, both externally and internally.
